Using a crockpot or slow cooker add 1 oz of cannabis or 2oz of trim to 1 lb of butter *Most prefer unsalted butter but I’m not picky)
add enough water to cover plant matter usually 1-1.5 litres
Simmer for at least 3 hours (I simmer it for as long as 24 hours)
**You can do this is a LARGE pot on very low heat on your stovetop as well just do not leave it unattended or overnight.
Remove from heat and allow to cool.
place strainer covered in cheesecloth over a large bowl.
Strain liquid through cheese cloth…. squeeze, squeeze, squeeze
place liquid in refrigerator for at least 4 hours until butter is solid again.
Dump water and use butter any way you’d like 🙂
