Adding new, young plants to an NFT hydroponic or aquaponic system can be tricky. How do those young plants access the nutrient water? There are two methods: grow young plants long enough outside the system so they have long enough roots to thread through the netcup or use a cotton ball (or other material) to create a wick to bridge the gap in the channel
