Prospective marijuana business owner Joshua Tobin is turning a two-story tractor-trailer garage in South Anchorage into a facility for growing pot to sell to Alaska retail businesses starting next fall.
Tobin says he doesn’t have a lot of money to invest, so he has needed to find creative ways to maximize space and profit. Fortunately for Tobin, his construction background helps.
He expects to get his grow license from the state in early June. At that point, he would begin growing. Also at that point, he’ll have to stop smoking weed on the premises.
Until then, he partakes.
